The Theory of True Happiness

Illiterature, Thoughts June 11th, 2007

True happiness is within.

Its foundation though comes from others. The others being mentioned can be anything, it might be a thing, a thought, a feeling, or an existence.

That foundation is also what complements life. Because you never really live when you’re sad. Because life is happiness.

That foundation is never gone. It’s what keeps people alive even if they don’t know that there is any of that left for them.

When someone whom you love dearly dies or leaves you, a part of that foundation is gone. Not all of it though. Most of it still exists, you just fail to see it as you’re too focused on what you lost. You only look at all that matters to you, you never bothered to see what’s left for you. You never bothered to see the small things that really make a difference. Those little things you never thought could give you happiness. But you wouldn’t know or notice at all because you’re too preoccupied with the shit that life gives you.

When you know this theory though, you wouldn’t be so sad at all. You would cheer up at even just a simple thought of being alive. There’s more to this than words, than letters that you see on your screen.

I found out that experience is not the best teacher. Love is.

True happiness is constant, it is forever. Grief, sadness and sorrow, they’re all pseudo-realities created by our ignorance of the fact that life is beautiful.

Things don’t end the way you see it, they just change into something else. Or at least I think so.

And that, my friends, is one of my principles. And I am sharing it to you out of love. See? Even I care for you, someone you don’t even know.
